The 47th president of the United States loves Canada. So much so, that he proposed Canada become the official 51st state.
CULTURAL CONTEXT
Canadians are a breed of our own. We are obsessed with being kind, we’re constantly dominating at hockey and we spell things with our own little flavo(u)r.
THE IDEA
Amidst a trade war, Skip, a Canadian-born delivery service, celebrated what makes Canada unique by turning Canadian-spelled words into discount codes. Hungry Canadians could unlock 15% off their orders just by spelling words the Canadian way.
When Trump announced a 25% tariff on imported goods, we raised our discounts to match. And when he doubled it, we did too—giving shoppers even more reason to spell things the Canadian way.
